Bruce Ridge Early Childhood Centre and Preschool (also referred to as BRECC) is a nationally accredited, family orientated Early Childhood centre, surrounded by native bushland on the grounds of Calvary Hospital. BRECC was originally established in January 1992 as a work-based child care centre for employees of Calvary Healthcare. As a non-profit organisation BRECC operates as an incorporated association, under the governance of a Parent/Guardian Committee, supported by committed families, staff and the Director.
Children have a right to feel comfortable in an environment that is welcoming and aesthetically pleasing: an environment in which they can engage in long periods of uninterrupted play that is genuine, meaningful and challenging.
